ONE MOTO, who recently launched a global rebrand to coincide with their strategic global <\/strong>launch into India<\/strong><\/a>, Australia and <\/strong>UK<\/strong><\/a>, have set up their regional headquarters at DIFC.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The British founded Electric Vehicle company based in Covent Garden, London, UK built the business collaboratively with the UAE and GCC markets as their beached launch strategy following the hyper-growth last-mile sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The chosen location for ONE MOTO Global at DIFC was decided after research with various entities in the region. \u201cThe INNOVATION HUB within DIFC became our preferred choice of our Global headquarters as the values ONE MOTO were build on resonate with the modus operandi and vision of the UAEs government and leaders. We are not only the first EV company in the region, but have the vision to build the UAEs first electric vehicle manufacturing facility, placing the UAE on the world map for EV, tech innovation\u201d says Adam Ridgway, CEO ONE MOTO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

HOW DO THEY PLAN TO ACHIEVE THIS?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the modular set up and design of the ONE MOTO fleet, they are able to increase the uptake in the \u2018switch\u2019 to sustainable mobility, offering convenience (no charging network needed), affordability (finance options available), technology (all vehicles are built with a data driven telematics solution) and of course the experience (try ONE and you\u2019ll feel the difference).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adam Ridgway continued, \u201cEV incentives aren\u2019t as strong in this region as many other parts of the world, we are working with various public entities to offer subsidies for EVs, which simultaneously making it affordable to own a ONE MOTO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We can prove that a fleet switching to EV will save 74% OpEx, millions on tonnes of CO and other toxic pollutants (air and noise pollution inclusive) and improve the safety, welfare of riders in each territory we expand into<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last month [in the UAE] saw the fifth fuel price increase this year, which resulted in liver riders (who pay for their own fuel) increase 30% since January.
