Across the world, people are making more sustainable choices. The<\/strong> 2022 Edelman Trust Barometer<\/strong><\/a> found that 75% of us globally are concerned or fearful about climate change. Google searches for \u2018climate anxiety\u2019 have reached an all-time high this year \u2013 and we\u2019ve seen searches for sustainable goods increase by nearly 5 times in 5 years.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every day, people turn to search engines for information on climate change and ways they can take action. Vehicles on the road account for nearly three-quarters of transportation CO2 emissions, and are one of the largest contributors to greenhouse gases worldwide. To help address that, Google are giving people more choices on the routes they take when they have to drive and the impact on the environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FUEL-EFFICIENT ROUTING, FOR TRAVELING SUSTAINABLY<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the UAE, there are currently 63,000 registered delivery motorcycles producing over 168,000 tonnes of CO2e each year, it\u2019s killing 198,000 acres of forest each year too. With a relatively small country, the switch to EVs in delivery\/gigeconomy would dramatically contribute towards the country\u2019s green agenda<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The vision of ONE MOTO supersedes the customer facing presence. With a recent announcement of launching the first Smart Mobility and Innovation Centre<\/strong><\/a> in Dubai alongside the renowned university Rochester Institute of Technology<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This agreement sees the two entities uniting to develop three new vehicles and battery swapping solutions, with a goal to export the technology globally. The mobile battery banks use AI and big data to ensure batteries are available whenever the riders need them with the pilot city being Dubai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
