RIT Dubai, a global American University in Dubai, has collaborated with ONE MOTO, a leader in the design and development of electrical vehicles, to be a strategic partner for conducting research and development.
The research and development will be in the areas of: electric vehicles, hybrid vehicles, renewable energy, sustainability and smart solutions. RIT University in Dubai and ONE MOTO will also be collaborating in areas of mentorship, training and student placements.
Under the new collaboration, The ONE MOTO Academy will also help RIT Dubai providing resources to selected projects planned for implementation and give students a chance for internships. From its side, RIT Dubai will help ONE MOTO in presenting various research and development projects that are desired and would add value to both parties. ONE MOTO will also be able to access and use the various research facilities at RIT Dubai.
Dr Yousef al Assaf, President of RIT Dubai was delighted to cooperate with ONE MOTO, Dr Al Assaf commented: “It is interesting to see how RIT students will be working in real innovative projects that requires technical and business skills.
